Please believe me when I tell you, yesterday we had such a beautiful day we simply had to go out on midday to enjoy a walk at the beach here in Blanes.

We had our first swim in Sa Palomera with the water at a temperature of 21º C and the water was calm as a lake. We came back for lunch at 2.00 pm and suddenly the wind turned in and a violent Tramontana started lifting the foam from the tips of previously unexisting waves.

That was the begining of another rainny episode. Today it started with light showers and now it’s rainning intermitently all over Catalunya. Tomorrow the storms are expected to be more frequent and more violent.

Hopefully we’ll have better weather this weekend. We are all waiting for the real summer to kick in. When it does, I’ll make sure you are the first to know!
