So you may have heard that because of several conditions and the bad weather, Blanes suffered from a harsh recession of the beach.
Parts of the beach promenade got eaten by the sea and most of the sand disapeared. There was a serious concern about this for the summer.
Today we can asure that we will have beach for this summer. We have a boat which is working night and day extracting sand from the Tordera river delta and bringing it to Sabanell beach.
Work has been going on night and day and we are happy to say the beach is progressing very well.
Last saturday we went out for a walk. People were already lying in the beach enjoying the great weather and watching the boat throwing out sand through a gigantic pipe.
